CHANCO Travelling theater (CTT) has announced that it has organised a live performance slated for Thursday, 20 October 2022 in the Little Theatre
In an interview with Chanco News, CTT President, Comfort Chauluka said the group is set to stage a live performance on “Withu ngwamoyo (ours is alive)”, a tumbuka-chewa artistic drama which was written by Linda Tembo and directed by Ted Khwiya.
Chauluka pointed out that poor organisation and unchanged traditional structures which were followed by previous team affected their activities as some members lost passion which resulted in lack of commitment and loss of hope.
The CTT president further added that people should expect to be entertained and be informed about different aspects of life as the performance will be a massive comeback.
CTT has been inactive since its participation in Tumaini Festival at Refugee Camp in Dowa which took place from 4 to 7 September last year.
