Musician Skeffa Chimoto says he is not interested in politics
His remarks come following speculation in light of his presence at a political rally in Nkhotakota over the weekend, where he was amongst those sitting at the high table.
Some quarters went to town on social media saying he is contemplating contesting as a Member of Parliament in Nkhotakota where he hails from.
But Skeffa, better known as the Jamming Machine for his energetic live acts, says he was invited to the rally to perform and nothing else.

The musician says he was asked to sit at the high table to shift attention from where he was seated at first.
A number of artists have in the past joined politics and they include Billy Kaunda, Malume Bokosi and Soldier Lucius Banda.
