Member of Parliament for Machinga Likwenu constituency Bright Msaka has launched an 80 million kwacha secondary school construction project under Governance to Enable Service Delivery (GESD) project in Machinga district.
Speaking during the launch, Msaka stressed the importance of investing in education saying it contributes to the development of the country.

Msaka has however asked government to improve the welfare of teachers saying they are the catalyst for better education.

In his remarks, spokesperson for Machinga district council Martin Chiwanda said the project is expected to end in April 2023 when school blocks and teachers’ houses are expected to have been constructed.
Meanwhile Traditional Authority Sitola has welcomed the development, naming the school Chisangalalo CDSS.
