Minister of Foreign Affairs Nancy Tembo has called on Malawians to mobilise more resources instead of pointing fingers at authorities that are responsible for disaster management.
The minister was speaking at Capital Hill in Lilongwe during a symbolic handover of a K52 million cheque by the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce towards Tropical Cyclone Freddy’s response.
‘’Government is always prepared for disasters but nobody anticipated the magnitude of the catastrophe so let’s join hands and support the affected households, ‘’ said Tembo.
