The Ministry of Education has assured the safety of 50 students expected to study in India with Sharda University after a Memorandum Of Understanding between the two countries.

Under the scholarship, students will be responsible for their traveling costs, and upkeep allowances and pay half of the tuition fees.

Deputy director responsible for higher education in the Ministry of Education, Dr Valentino Zimpita, said the MOU will benefit Malawi in its quest for the attainment of quality human resources.

On his part, Sharda University’s Assistant Director for International Relations, Sudhir Pandey, said the students will be enrolled under the 14 faculties offered at the university.
