The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) says it has received a lot of complaints about the distribution exercise of relief items to survivors of Tropical Cyclone Freddy.

Director General for the Bureau, Martha Chizuma, confirmed the development to MBC in an interview on Thursday.

Chizuma disclosed that her office will investigate all the complaints.

“We are ready to investigate and conclude all the cases in the court of law, ” said Chizuma.

Tropical Cyclone Freddy has displaced close to 500,000 people in Malawi’s Southern Region.

Meanwhile, the bureau has donated relief items worth K5 million to 300 survivors in the area of Traditional Authority Juma, in Mulanje District.
