Thousands of Christians and people of goodwill on Sunday gathered at Chiputula Charismatic Redeemed Ministries International (CRMI) in Mzuzu to witness the installation of Bishop Agape Mpama as Bishop of Northern Diocese and Karonga Diocese.

Charismatic Redeemed Ministries International Co-Founder ArchBishop Mark Kambalazaza presided over the function.

Kambalazaza called upon the new Bishop to be committed to her duty and save all members of the church, regardless of their cultural beliefs and gender, among others.

Mzuzu City Council Chief Executive Officer, Gomezani Nyasulu was the guest of honour.
