The buying of maize starts at Luwinga in Mzuzu on June 12 and ends on August 12, with a kilogram being bought at K560.
In a statement, the Goshen Trust said it will buy 5000 metric tons of white Non-GMO maize that meets certain standard specifications.
Specifications are that such maize should have been produced in 2022 and 2023 and moisture content of maximum 12.5 percent, among others.
“Our price is K560 per kilogram and the sale will be on the first come-first-serve principle within the slated period above. Payment will be on upon delivery,” reads the statement.
