The race for glory in the FDH Bank Premiership has received a major boost after the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) secured a K40 million sponsorship partnership with the Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (MAGLA) for the league’s Goal and Save of the Month awards.FDH extends promotion, changes prize destination to Mauritius

The partnership was officially unveiled in Blantyre during the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two organisations, marking another significant investment into Malawian football.

Speaking during the ceremony, MAGLA Director General Muchanakhwaye Mpuluka described the partnership as a step towards promoting excellence in football.

Mpuluka said MAGLA is proud to support local football and believes the initiative will motivate players to work harder and entertain supporters with quality performances on the pitch.

SULOM Vice President Ronald Chiwaula welcomed the sponsorship, saying the deal comes at the right time as the league continues to grow in competitiveness and popularity.

He added that SULOM has already appointed a panel of technical experts who will be responsible for identifying deserving winners in both categories.
