United States of America Deputy Assistant Secretary to Treasury, Eric Meyer, has called for urgent economic reforms if the country is to stay on course with IMF’s Extended Credit Facility programme.

Meyer points out that the country has delayed in the implementation of the IFIMIS, Debt restructuring as well as improving revenue collection.

Meyer has also called on Capital Hill to to work on investment deals that will be beneficial for the people of Malawi.
