Our Aim Foundation’s Nafuse Health Centre has officially been opened and is expected to serve over 1 000 people around Traditional Authority Kawere in Mchinji district.
The organisation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Health to provide health services in less privileged communities across Malawi.
Deputy Minister of Health Halima Daudi who presided over the opening of the facility expressed gratitude urging other individuals and stakeholders to emulate the spirit of Our Aim Foundations’ family.
Our Aim Foundation founder Nisha Mandani, said the organisation’s goal is to expand to more underprivileged communities and provide quality services 100 percent free.
Mandani said Nafuse Health Center is the second facility after Tongozala which is in the same district, aimed at reaching out to more people and enhance the universal health coverage.
The organisation’s board chairperson Imtiazbeg Mirza maintains that apart from treating various ailments, the two facilities will continue to provide free meals, free sanitary pads, and offer vocational training courses, among others.
In Malawi, the organisation started its projects in 2008.
