Malawi under 17 national football team head coach Enos Chatama has made two changes in his tactical starting lineup against Angola at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations U17 Qualifying tournament – Cosafa in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Chatama has opted for Geoffrey Gama in goals replacing Rashid Nikisi who manned the goal posts when Malawi came from behind to force a 1-1draw against Mozambique on Wednesday.
The Nyasa Big Bullets reserve mentor has benched Gift Chibala and allowed Simplex Kachingwe to partner James Lumbe and Clifford Chisale up front.
Chatama has maintained a 4-3-3 formation in today’s match against Angola scheduled to kick off at midday at UJ AW Muller Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This is a must win game for Malawi to boost its chances of cruising to the semifinals as they have a point in group A with Angola leading the group with three points after defeating Lesotho 2-1 in their opening match.
