President Lazarus Chakwera’s recent public appearances have seen an alarming increase in the number of citizens booing and jeering at his convoy, signaling a growing discontent with his administration. Viral videos from Lilongwe and Chinsapo 2 highlight a frustrated population, openly voicing their dissatisfaction with the current state of governance. Political analysts suggest that this visible loss of support could harm Chakwera’s chances for re-election in 2025 unless swift and effective action is taken to address the grievances of the people.
