Nathenje Parish celebrates 25 years of service by Sister Priscilla

Amidst the challenges of hunger and political tensions, the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi hosted a joyous celebration to mark Sister Priscilla’s 25th anniversary of religious service at Nathenje Parish in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, under Likuni Deanery.

The event began with a thanksgiving Mass in the morning, drawing parishioners and well-wishers to honor Sister Priscilla’s remarkable journey of dedication and faith. The Mass was a moment of reflection and gratitude for the blessings God has bestowed upon her life and ministry.

Following the Mass, the celebration continued with a reception at the Sisters’ convent. The gathering started with a prayer led by the catechist, setting a tone of spirituality and reverence for the occasion.

In her heartfelt speech, Sister Priscilla expressed profound gratitude to God for His protection and guidance throughout her 25 years of service. She also thanked the congregation and her fellow sisters for their unwavering support and encouragement.
