President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera….he paid a deaf ear to listen to constructive criticisms

A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, says 2024 has been a year of lost opportunity to listen to constructive criticism for President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his MCP.
Kamphangala said President Chakwera was ushered into government basing on his religious background that being man of God he will transform the country from where it was in 2020 to somewhere and corruption as it was worse under the DPP, be a thing of the past.
He said the 4 years of President Chakwera has proved to be no productive to Malawians that had high expectations that man of God dubbed servant leader will run the country in the interest of all but the opposite has been seen, he is not the same Chakwera Malawians knew when he was campaigning for presidency.
The MCP diehard said beside having a group of advisors Chakwera has individuals such as Bantu Saunders Jumah, Dr. Samuel Lwala, Isaiah Emanuel Sunganimoyo, and other activists who have been advising him on how he can run government but he paid a deaf ear to their advices.
He has asked President Chakwera and his MCP government to make an evaluation on the relationship between the citizens and government, saying it is not a disputable fact that Malawians have lost trust and confidence in him.
Kamphangala has observed that all those who were giving President Chakwera and MCP constructive criticism, have been turned into enemies of the state with most of the genuine activists who stand together with the people are allegedly been targeted for death.
He said in the just ended 2024 year, MCP has shown itself that history is the best teacher, the party is still of death and darkness claiming that children who are adults today were being told various atrocities which were committed by the MCP of Kamuzu Banda, the present MCP has copied and pasted the same.
“The tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest, missing of the black box, the commission of inquiry which was a cover up of President Chakwera and his MCP, these are the fruits of not telling the truth,” said Kamphangala.
He has advised President Chakwera and MCP to be prepared for tougher times, claiming that big parties will not go into Alliance with the MCP and as result, the year 2025 will be a bad year to the mighty MCP as all opposition political parties will gang up against the MCP.
