The Umkondo wa Maseko Ngoni Group of Ntcheu has sent a warning message to Malawi Congress Party (MCP) that arresting Norman Chisale, is arresting the whole Ngoni tribe assuring it that the Ngoni of Ntcheu will not sit down and be clapping hands.
The Umkondo wa Ngoni says they have learnt with a great shock and dismay that MCP youth operatives ambushed DPP convoy in Mponela targeting to kill DPP Vice President for the Centre Alfred Gangata and DPP Director of Youth Norman Paulosi Chisale.
The Maseko Ngoni Group said it is sad that after failing to kill one of their own Norman Chisale in Mponela, the MCP through the Malawi Police Service (MPS) have agreed to arrest Norman Chisale on cooked up charges that he and Gangata destroyed Mponela Police Station.
Leader of the Umkondo wa Ngoni Maseko, Cizwe , has appealed to all the Ngoni’s of Dedza and Ntcheu to be prepared for the arrest of one of them Norman Chisale and the same day, he will be arrested, they should close the M1 Lilongwe- Blantyre Road.
Cizwe has appealed to the Ngoni’s of Golomoti, Bilira, Tsangano, Mphate, Lizulu, Chingeni, Biriwiri, Kasinje, Sharpe Valley, Masasa and Senzani to mobilize used motor tyres so that on the day they hear that Chisale is arrested, the whole Blantyre Road be in a cloud of smoke.
He has questioned the MCP led government led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera that what wrong has the Ngoni did to them after killing the departed Vice President Dr. Saulosi Chilima on Monday, 10th June, 2024 and today, they want to kill Norman Chisale?
The Umkondo wa Maseko Ngoni leader said memories are still fresh that on the 18th May, 1983 the MCP of Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda tragically murdered 4 cabinet ministers in the names of Dick Matenje, Aaron Gadama, Twaibu Sangala and David Chiwanga and dumped their bodies in Thambani- Mwanza district.
The Group said as history is the great teacher, the same MCP government and this time under man of God and an ordained Priest Dr. Lazarus Chakwera tragically killed Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, saying this is paining all the Ngoni’s in the country.
“The MCP in 1993 killed Dick Matenje, a Ngoni, in June, 2024 they killed Dr. Saulosi Chilima and in 2025 plans are underway to arrest and kill Norman Chisale, another Ngoni,” lamented Cizwe.
He has appealed to Ntcheu chiefs that being invited to dine with President Chakwera at the State House in Lilongwe does not mean that all the Ngoni’s were invited to receive the k50,000s, advising them not to stop their subjects when they will be burning tyres in Ntcheu roads.
Cizwe has finally advised the Chewa business people who come all the way to Ntcheu to buy cabbages and Irish potatoes to talk to President Chakwera to stop arresting and killing the Ngoni of Ntcheu through their notorious MCP youth operatives a new brand name graduated from the Malawi Young Pioneers (MYP).
