Jumbe urges Malawians to rise up not with stones but truth

By Vincent Gunde

A Concerned citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, says the time has come to rise up not with stones, but with truth, not with hate, but with courage, not with violence, but with the unwavering demand of justice.

Comrade Jumbe says as Malawians walk toward the 16th September, 2025 General Elections, they are demanding answers, reforms and truth saying the voters’ register must be audited by the people with no shot-cuts, and no cover-ups.

He says Justice Anabel Mtalimanja must resign immediately, a referee cannot sit at the table of one team and claim neutrality, she is compromised and her silence in the face of electoral irregularities is louder than any speech.

Speaking through his face book page, Comrade Jumbe says Malawians are saying to no to Smartmatic machines of suspicion, elections cannot be free and fair when Smartmatic machines already linked controversy and rigging across the World.

Comrade Jumbe has demanded equal media access for all-not just MBC observing that it is a national shame that only MBC the State broadcaster, is given dominance in covering election events, while others are blocked.

He has observed that time given for registration was not enough and the registration itself was full of irregularities such as doubled names, missing of names in the voters’ registration roll and deliberate registration of minors describing the whole process as registration window of fraud.

The concerned citizen says Malawians will seek an injunction to stop this rigged process saying if the courts refuse to protect the Constitution, the people will demand it with their voices and their feet by marching across Lilongwe, Blantyre, Zomba, Mzuzu and every town saying they will rise not to destroy but to restore justice from injustice.

“Let it be known there will be no MCP government come 16th September, 2025 if these demands are not met, the people are awake, watching and ready, demanding transparency, fairness and democracy, and they will not be silenced,” reads Jumbe’s writing on the wall.

Meanwhile, Limpopo FM an online radio station, has vowed that MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will win the 16th September, 2025 elections only if Dr. Saulosi Chilima rises from the dead, if not, there dream of bouncing back into government will not be fulfilled.

Comrade Mtanyiwa has assured Mec Chairperson Justice Anabel Mtalimanja that even though she is rejecting independent auditors have access to see what is inside the Smartmatic machines, the radio has planted its gadgets inside the Smartmatic machines to monitor the situation on the ground.
