A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, has appealed to Malawians to refuse to return to dictatorship calling out a deeply disturbing plot that threatens not only a man but the soul of the country’s democracy.
Comrade Jumbe has urged Malawians never to allow themselves to slide back into the shadows of dictatorship, violence, and political terror informing peace-loving Malawians that Hon. Kamlepo Kalua, a fearless and outspoken servant of the people, is under serious death threats.
He has sent a strong unshakable warning to the MCP and all political entities that believe in violence as a shortcut to silencing opponents that this is not 1971, this is 2025 saying Malawi belongs to the people, not to thugs hiding behind party colors.
Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe has assured the MCP that Malawians are watching, they are documenting, and are ready to rise in defense of their democracy demanding Kamlepo Kalua’s full protection and a swift investigation into the death threats.
Comrade Jumbe has claimed to have credible information that Hon. Kamlepo Kalua’s killer has been hired and is actively pursuing this mission using a Ugandan mobile number saying he even have the numbers involved.
He has described the death threats to Hon. Kalua as not idle threat, and not rumor saying this is the very embodiment of political assassination –a brutal tool of the past that must be buried with it sending his message loud and clear that attacking Kamlepo Kalua is attacking all Malawians.
The voiceless citizen has claimed that Hon. Kalua is not just a political figure, he is a symbol of bold truth-telling in the face of corrupt power urging Malawians to refuse to sit silently while the dark forces attempt to eliminate voices of resistance through bullets and fear.
He has called upon the Malawi Police Service (MPS), the National Intelligence Service (NIS) and the Malawi Human Rights Commission (the Commission) to act now, warning them that if they fail to do so, they too, will stand exposed before the people.
Comrade Jumbe has urged Malawians to remain vigilant, united, the silence of good citizens is the Oxygen of tyranny, saying Malawians must speak up, resist, and protect one another for this country is theirs-and no gun or assassin will ever take that from them again.
“We refuse to return to dictatorship, Democracy is non-negotiable, hands off Kamlepo Kalua, hands off Malawi,” reads Jumbe’s writings on the wall.
