An online Television station Bakili Muluzi TV has questioned President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s call for unity in Malawi when the wounds are not healed following millions of questions surrounding the death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest on the 10th June, 2024.
Bakili Muluzi TV said on 10th June, 2024 Army Commander General Dr. Paul Velentino Phiri told the nation that the plane which carried Dr. Chilima and eight others, to Mzuzu crashed at an area which was difficult to be reached by soldiers and it was far away from villages.
He said on the same 10th June, 2024 President Chakwera told the nation that the plane failed to land at Mzuzu Airport because of the foggy weather and the pilot was ordered to return to Lilongwe claiming that in all of these two statements, none has reversed it or apologized.
The radio said the commission of inquiry proved that the departed souls had no blood and black box was missing asking President Chakwera to clarify what type of unity is he looking forward when he himself is failing to tell Malawians the truth of the nine Chikangawa departed souls.
Bakili Muluzi TV has claimed that all Malawians including 5 years’ children knows the truth that Dr. Saulosi Chilima died because of the second term issue as in their agreement which was signed in the presence of madam Dr. Joyce Banda, Catholic Bishops and all the clergy.
He said President Chakwera in one of his rallies told Malawians that he will stand till 2030 in the presence of Dr. Chilima himself saying this is speaking for itself that without the second term issue for Dr. Chakwera, Dr. Chilima would have been alive today.
The radio said history is the best teacher that in 1961 Patrice Lumumba of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was killed by the Belgians, his body was wrapped in acid and it took 40 years when in 2002 the Belgians apologized for killing Lumumba.
He said in 1987 Thomas Sankala of Burkina Faso was killed, it took 27 years for the killer Brace Kompaore to confess that he killed Sankala saying even here at home, in 1992 Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda apologized for carrying out various atrocities to innocent Malawians.
“Kamuzu Banda asked for forgiveness to heal the wounds, Chakwera is calling for unity when the wounds are not healed,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
He has assured President Chakwera and the MCP that Malawians are demanding justice to prevail on the death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, and will not wait for 40 years as Lumumba and 27 years as Sankala for justice to come.
He has reminded Malawians that Kamuzu Banda killed Orton Edgar Ching’oli Chirwa in prison and the MCP government of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has made Orton Chirwa a hero, the same, they killed Dr. Saulosi Chilima and they have named a Chinese built road in Lilongwe as Chilima Highway.
