FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have said they will not stand in the way of their captain, Lloyd Aaron, if the opportunity arises for him to secure a deal abroad — even though he remains a vital part of their squad.
The 24-year-old Malawi international is reportedly on the radar of Qatari side Muaither FCC in a move that could earn Bullets a record transfer fee of K192 million if finalized.
Speaking on the development, Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga chose to remain tight-lipped on the specifics of the deal but made it clear that the club’s philosophy of empowering players to explore opportunities beyond Malawi remains unchanged.
“As a club, we have always encouraged our players to take up opportunities that advance their careers. We will continue on that path even if the player is a key member of the team,” Chigoga said.
Aaron, who has been instrumental in the team’s recent successes both domestically and in regional competitions, has seen his stock rise steadily, attracting interest from clubs beyond Africa.
Should the deal go through, it would mark one of the biggest transfers in Malawi football history and underline Bullets’ commitment to nurturing talent for the international stage.
