A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has urged the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) to take the 2025 MCP manifesto back to the bedroom for scrutiny by all members of the party.
Kamphangala said a lot has been said about the manifesto and there is no reason for senior members of the party to shed some light on it claiming that truth to be said, the manifesto is far from reality but lies which will put the party to become a laughing stock by the world.
He said even one of the diehard members of the MCP Counsel Sylvester Ayuba James has questioned the manifesto that how come one can announce a child-bearing competition in a country that is already at demographic breaking point.
The voiceless citizen has reminded MCP family and supporters that President Chakwera after learning that he presented half-baked truth of projects implemented by his government in 5 years, he went back to Parliament to withdraw his statement.
Kamphangala said he find the manifesto presented to Malawians similar to the State of the Nations Address (SONA) advising President to swallow his pride to withdraw the manifesto to minimize noise which is not only coming from opposition parties but MCP members and supporters too.
“There are no medicines in hospitals, civil servants are crying for salaries, maize prices are going up, then President Chakwera is coming with K500,000 for every new born, any logic there? Questioned Kamphangala.
Counsel Ayuba James said if this is true, then the statement saying government has no money, is not true advising government that if the country has such money, it should buy medicines in hospitals, increasing public service wages, constructing roads in Kawale, Area 25 and 49and in all districts across the country.
“If this was said, iam here shaking my head, it means we have a big problem, an accurate shortage of basic thinkers in such a big institution,” reads Ayuba James’s writings on the wall.
He has asked President Chakwera that why he is putting himself under pressure, who was thinking this, what kind of economics are you playing saying if this was ever said, he is embarrassed at the level of intellectual mediocrity exhibited.
Business entrepreneur Kondwani Kachamba Ngwira, has advised politicians to centre their campaign on truth reminding them that this another generation, the country has brains claiming that the time of lies are over (no more bodza campaign clean with facts.
Ngwira said they have claimed to employ 3 million people saying already, they employed 2.4 million saying Malawians haven’t seen the 2.4 million jobs claimed questioning where are they? Malawians cannot even talk of the 3 million people.
“Malawi’s total population is 22 million, 51 percent of this figure is under 18 cannot work, you have already employed 2.4 million people, you will employ 3 million people, it means 4.94 million left, within 5 years, all will be employed,” reads Ngwira’s writings on the wall.
