National Development Party (NDP) presidential hopeful Frank Mwenefumbo has unveiled Chikondi Mpokosa from Zomba as his running mate ahead of the highly anticipated presidential elections.
Speaking with passion and purpose, Mwenefumbo declared that Malawi is ripe for transformation—but only if citizens unite for a common cause. “Change is possible,” he said, “but it demands that we hold hands and move together.”
Taking a bold stance, the NDP leader distanced his party from politics driven by power and personal ambition. “We’re not here for titles—we’re here for development,” he emphasized, vowing to dismantle regional favoritism and build a truly inclusive Malawi.
Tackling one of the nation’s most pressing challenges, Mwenefumbo promised sustainable solutions to food insecurity and unveiled plans to create jobs for Malawi’s restless youth. His vision includes equipping young people with in-demand vocational skills tailored to the needs of the modern economy.
With a fresh face and a bold platform, the Mwenefumbo-Mpokosa ticket is positioning itself as the leadership team ready to rewrite Malawi’s story—one of unity, progress, and opportunity for all.
