Maranatha Academy has announced a new educational partnership with Sharda University, one of India’s leading institutions of higher learning. The agreement will allow Malawian students to register for programs at Sharda University through Maranatha Academy, streamlining the enrollment process for international studies.
Speaking during the announcement, Maranatha Academy Director Ernest Kaonga expressed optimism that the collaboration will greatly benefit Malawi, particularly in the area of advanced science education.
“This partnership is a significant step forward in providing Malawian students with access to world-class education. It aligns with our vision to enhance academic standards and opportunities in the country,” Kaonga said.
He also revealed Maranatha’s future expansion plans, stating that the institution aims to establish a primary school within the next two years and a science and technology university within five years.

Representing Sharda University, senior official Rahul Pal said the university is excited to work with Maranatha due to its strong reputation in Malawi’s education sector.
“We are impressed by Maranatha’s dedication to academic excellence and are confident that this partnership will be fruitful,” said Pal.
The collaboration is expected to open new doors for Malawian students seeking quality international education and help bridge the gap in specialized higher education opportunities.
