Former President of the Republic who is also DPP leader Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, has proved to Malawians that he knew of what he was doing at his Page House in Mangochi making his critics to speak above their voices and escorting him for an early grave.
There have been stories being propelled by MCP media team and the State-run Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) that Professor Mutharika is sick, frail, incapacitated, and at his age, he is too old to campaign, the opposite has happened, he is a wrestler at 85 years.
The announcement that Professor Mutharika will go on a nationwide tour whistle=stops campaign meetings, made the MCP and MBC to become doubtful that the DPP wants to fool Malawians, the reality has been seen by people welcoming him in their large numbers putting the MCP and MBC to shame.
Writing on his face book page, a concerned citizen of Malawi- Che Bisika under the banner “Musalole Titayike Ambuye” has described Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika as the most popular and most loved candidate amongst all the presidential candidates.
Che Bisika says Malawi Congress Party’s (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is the least popular candidate compared to Professor Mutharika challenging all those that deny this fact or not that signs are on the wall that Professor Mutharika is the darling of the people.
He has blamed MCP media team for not doing enough to market President Chakwera that instead of concentrating on selling their candidate, they are busy attacking the most popular and most loved candidate- Professor Mutharika by wishing him dead.
The citizen has claimed that the MCP media team blundered by writing news articles of wishing Mutharika dead saying this made many people who loved him most to be not happy and others, started sympathizing with him.
He says the attack on Mutharika made more Malawians joining those that most loved Mutharika to be angry and it was not surprising to see many people lining themselves on the M1 Road from Nsipe in Ntcheu to the capital- Lilongwe that the one who was pronounced dead by the MCP and MBC has risen.
The situation was the same from Lilongwe to Mzuzu and Mzuzu to Lilongwe via Lake Shore Road, there were hundreds of people welcoming Professor Mutharika passing the roads with his motorcade bringing business to a standstill.
“Don’t they know that the day Professor Mutharika comes out from his Page House to the streets, it will be a total shutdown? And don’t they know that by spreading propagandas against Mutharika that he is sick, they have made him more popular? Questioned Che Bisika.
