A Concerned Citizen of Malawi Benedicto Mbewe, says the 16th September, 2025 elections are to sell the country or liberate claiming that in 2020 Malawians looked clever castigating Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika when soya pieces were K60 per 90g, today k1000.
Mbewe said those that will vote for the MCP did not love Dr. Saulosi Chilima saying whoever wants the truth to prevail on circumstances that led to his death and the missing black box for Dr. Chilima to be located, will vote against the MCP and President Chakwera.
He has warned Malawians that voting wrongly will sell the country advising registered voters to vote for one to liberate the country, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for forex to be available in local banks, fertilizer to be available, hunger to be a thing of yesterday and skyrocketing prices of essential goods to go down.
Speaking through a video clip, Mbewe has asked Malawians to go and vote for leaders who are not liars and those forgetting the promises they made saying Malawians need leaders who can apologize for their failures for the country to move forward.
Mbewe said it is sad that Malawi is labelled poor by politicians while it has everything to make itself rich saying it is shame that the country is lying on position 2 of the world’s poorest country saying all this has been made because of the MCPs thieving in government.
He has claimed that President Chakwera is a beneficiary of demonstrations and as such, he has been sending thugs to disrupt opposition party and activists planned demonstrations advising Malawians to vote out panga knives of the MCP.
The citizen has claimed that proven leadership is coming with Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to make transportation costs cheaper, and maize to be sold at a price which the poor can afford to buy not today under President Chakwera that a bag of maize is K100,000.
“Those that have sailed through pain and sufferings under President Chakwera and the MCP that time is now, all these can end by voting out Chakwera for Professor Mutharika,” said Mbewe.
He has warned all those that will be voting for Chakwera on the 16th September, that the soul of Dr. Saulosi Chilima will be on their heads for their party-MCP knows something on his tragic death in the Chikangawa forest.
Mbewe has finally advised teachers that will be working as Polling staff to love their country and children and they should be reminded that all Malawians are crying and many are regretting to have voted for Chakwera in June, 2020.
