Blantyre, Malawi – Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) has announced that it is ready to host its 4th Research Dissemination Conference in Blantyre from 1st to 3rd October 2025.
The Vice Chancellor of KUHeS, Professor MacPherson Mallewa, revealed during a press briefing that the conference will provide a platform for researchers, healthcare practitioners, and policymakers to share findings, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions to Malawi’s pressing healthcare challenges.
“Through this conference, we aim to strengthen collaboration across multiple disciplines, foster innovation, and contribute to the country’s economic and healthcare development,” said Prof. Mallewa.

The conference, themed “Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation: Key to Economic Development,” has a total budget of MK300 million, and is expected to host over 800 delegates from across Malawi and beyond.

KUHeS emphasized that the event will serve as a critical space for knowledge sharing, networking, and promoting research-based solutions that can drive sustainable development in Malawi’s health sector.
The 4th Research Dissemination Conference is part of KUHeS’s ongoing commitment to advancing health research, innovation, and policy dialogue in Malawi.
