A Concerned citizen of Malawi Ben Chiza Mkandawire, has advised Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba to watch out and let the process of announcing the 16th September, 2025 election results go as planned by the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec).
Mkandawire has asked Mumba to accept the results of the elections that the MCP has lost claiming that it was the MCP itself which gave chances to the DPP by not listening to the cries of the citizens and Mumba should not be making noise today for his party’s own mistake.
He said the voice of Malawians has chosen Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to lead them in the next 5 years assuring him that there will be no Re-Run advising him to go to court if aggrieved just the same as the MCP did in 2019.
Speaking through a video clip, Mkandawire has asked Mumba to let the DPP and Professor Mutharika run government as mandated by Malawians other than issuing press statements that only delay the process of announcement of results.
Mkandawire said Mumba has made for himself a lot of enemies, and created mistakes in government warranting him to go to Maula Prison for committing serious offenses that require prosecutions assuring him that Malawians will prosecute him.
He said the electoral process in Malawi is functional observing that there was a deliberate plan for Mumba to be made running mate and later on to Presidency in 2030 advising him that this will not happen in Malawi, MCP has been buried alive.
The citizen said Mumba is the only person left in the MCP claiming that the elections have been rigged by the DPP observing that others, such as Richard Chimwendo Banda, Catherine Gotani Hra are already re-aligning themselves to the winning DPP.
He has reminded Mumba that he is not the first one to be removed from government claiming that Malawians did the same to Dr. Bakili Muluzi’s third term bid and Dr. Joyce Banda where the system was favorable for her coming back in the 2014 elections.
“Pack-up and leave government in peace, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will be prosecuted in Dr. Saulosi Chilima’s case and you for passports and you will all be imprisoned,” said Chiza Mkandawire.
He said there is no need for Mumba to go to the podium demanding data audit while prior to the 16th September, 2025 elections, they rejected this as not important because it is coming from opposition political parties.
Mkandawire said Mumba and his friends Chimwendo Banda, Moses Kunkuyu and others, have been fooling President Chakwera that they have a strategy of winning elections saying President Chakwera was preparing Mumba to lead the MCP and at the same time preparing him for his downfall.
He has finally assured Mumba that the wind of change has blown over Malawi giving an example of Dr. Jessie Kabwira, she is quiet today after making serious utterances saying him will not be part of the wind of change in Malawi.
