Political activist Bon Kalindo, has expressed his grave concern over the brutal hacking leading death of one DPP monitor at Nsundwe in Lilongwe advising Malawians that Malawi is one, no need to hack or kill one another because of politics.
Kalindo has appealed to all MCP supporters to accept defeat that they have lost the 16th September, 2025 elections and not to avenge anger on innocent people because they have failed observing that this is not politics but criminality.
He has called on the police or Malawi Defense Force (MDF) to arrest the culprits who have killed a DPP monitor as a lesson to the other would-be offenders that politics must be practiced by clean people not killers.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said people are expecting a lot from the DPP advising Professor Mutharika to have no mercy at anyone who breaks the law whether one is DPP or MCP and other political parties for sanity to prevail in Malawi.
Kalindo said while Malawians are remembering the brutal and savagery activities of MCP thugs who have for 5 years been hacking and terrorizing activists and opposition supporters, it is sad that within this group, there are police officers from C Company, Area 3, Kasungu, and Nkhatabay as part of the thugs.
He said these police officers were calling themselves “16 little monkeys” saying they have for 5 years of President Chakwera demonstrating unprofessional conduct not wealthy to be public officers hence a call to Professor Mutharika to fire them.
The activist said there is a list of police officers who were masking their faces armed themselves with pangas and other dangerous weapons saying these must be prosecuted apart from losing their jobs for lessons to the officers to exercise their duties in a professional way.
He said other cases which demand commission of inquiries or investigations and bring to book the suspects include those who mismanaged Covid-19 pandemic funds, Martha Chizuma who was arrested in her pajamas for wishing to arrest President Chakwera’s son and his wife, and Sattar cases.
“Those that procured fertilizer in a butchery and pharmacy, Bridgin foundation, Allan Witika, fuel scarcity while billions were paid for no fuel,” said Kalindo.
He said those who harassed Burundians and Rwandans nationals must be brought to book saying all these cases are awaiting conclusions for Malawi to be one not a divided nation advising Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to appoint Justice Annabel Mtalimanja as ACB Director General for all these cases.
Kalindo has finally reported to Professor Mutharika that there are other people who are illegally keeping pistols in their houses, panga wielding thugs and MBC Timvetse Programme panelists saying all these people must hand their firearms to police.
