TFM Centre of Excellence Donates K10 Million to IPMM for 2025 Annual Lakeshore Conference

The Thomson Frank Mpinganjira (TFM) Centre of Excellence has donated K10 million to the Institute of People Management Malawi (IPMM) to support the organisation’s annual lakeshore conference, scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25, 2025, in Mangochi District.

During the cheque presentation ceremony held in Blantyre, TFM Centre of Excellence Senior Manager, Hannah Kankuzi, said the donation aligns with the centre’s mission to promote leadership development and innovation across Malawi and Africa.

“As a centre, our vision is to develop leaders who can help contribute to the growth and development of Malawi, Africa, and the world at large,” said Kankuzi.

“We decided to sponsor the IPMM conference because we see IPMM as a key partner in achieving our vision beyond this event.”

IPMM Executive Director, Willy Nkhoma, expressed gratitude for the generous contribution, saying the financial support will help ensure the success of this year’s conference.

“We thank TFM Centre of Excellence for this timely support,” said Nkhoma.
“The funds will help us host a successful conference under the theme ‘HR Re-imagined: Shaping the Future of Work’.”

The TFM Centre of Excellence, established by business mogul and philanthropist Dr. Thom Mpinganjira, operates as a subsidiary of FDH Financial Holdings Limited. The institution focuses on nurturing world-class leaders, promoting innovation, and enhancing professional excellence across various sectors.

The IPMM Annual Lakeshore Conference is one of Malawi’s most prestigious gatherings for human resource professionals, business leaders, and policy experts, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and strategic discussions on the evolving world of work.
