Limpopo FMs online radio station’s Nkhanga zaona programme producer Comrade Ntanyiwa, says he has learnt with disappointments that the DPP is divided over on who will take over from President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika after he quit active politics in 2030.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said the people that are dividing the DPP are those of the Lomwe belt saying they believe in themselves as more powerful than anyone in the DPP and they are driving the party disregarding other people from the other regions of Malawi.
He said it is sad that there are five camps in the DPP, all against Justice Dr. Jane Ansah SC and Alfred Gangata asking those that are fighting for DPP leadership in 2030 what wrong has Justice Dr. Jane Ansah and Gangata did to them?
The activist has reminded those that are fighting for DPP leadership after Mutharika that Justice Dr. Jane Ansah SC was appointed by President Professor Mutharika and if she has done wrong to them, they have to fight Professor Mutharika not her.
He has advised all the five DPP camps to let President Professor Mutharika fulfill his vision of developing Malawi and leave Justice Dr. Jane Ansah SC alone assuring them that DPP members themselves will choose who is the best to lead the DPP after Professor Mutharika.
Comrade Ntanyiwa has told all those that are fighting for 2030 that Malawians did not vote for the DPP to be in government but they voted for Professor Mutharika on trust that he will liberate the country from the shackles of MCP dictatorship and quest to return the country to one party state.
He has warned those that are fueling divisions in the DPP that if they don’t stop what they are doing taking the party as theirs, he will expose them through “Name and Shame “programme for them to learn to live better with other people.
The activist has registered his grave concern that instead of addressing the challenges the country is in of lacking food, fuel, forex and fertilizer, individuals perceived to be powerful in the DPP are strategizing fighting for DPP leadership describing this mentality as failures in politics.
“Some people in the DPP are wishing Professor Mutharika dead so that they take over the DPP leadership, Mutharika is not dying, I am praying to him in the name of the Holy spirit to continue running the country,” said Comrade Ntanyiwa.
He has advised all those that are fighting in the DPP for leadership after Professor Mutharika to wait for 2030 but this will not be automatic, it will depend on their love with the people in the DPP and if they don’t have love with the people, they better sit down, Malawians won’t vote for them.
On a sad not, Comrade Ntanyiwa has reported to Malawians that while President Professor Mutharika is doing everything possible to fix the country politically and economically, a powerful man in the DPP has pocketed 250,000 US Dollars from the Indians of Salima Sugar company for contracts saying he has sent the name of that powerful man direct to Professor Mutharika through an SMS message for his action.
Comrade Ntanyiwa has assured all those that are not wishing him well that he will not work with them in the DPP but President Professor Mutharika alone, saying he will be giving him reports of what ministers are doing in government sot that by the time Professor Mutharika will be leaving office, he should go with a clean record for his legacy to be respected by the generation to come.
