Bakili Muluzi TV online television station, has claimed that both Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba and Richard Chimwendo Banda deserves to be arrested and prosecuted in a court of law without mercy for committing serious offences.
Bakili Muluzi TV said Vitumbiko Mumba wanted to stage coup d-etat through corrupting the youth to be holding violent demonstrations for Mec Chairperson Justice Annabel Mtalimanja to declare President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera the winner at the time that Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika was heading to a landslide victory.
He said on the other hand, Dr. Jessie Kabwila was claiming that the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and its candidate Chakwera got 70+1 percent landslide victory arguing that the DPP and Professor Mutharika had rigged the elections.
The activist said as the Coup d-etat was being arranged, MCP Police was on the ground targeting Norman Chisale, Alfred Gangata, Sameer Suleman and Dr. Ben Phiri for arrests suspecting them of masterminding a vote rigging scheme for the elections to favor Professor Mutharika.
He said all the Dashboard where the election results were being beamed were put off on Times and Zodiak radio and television stations as the results were indicating that Professor Mutharika was leading President Chakwera by a big margin.
Bakili Muluzi said if Mumba’s statement “We got this” succeeded Norman Chisale, Alfred Gangata, Sameer Suleman and Dr. Ben Malunga Phiri would have by today been smelling dust in the grave saying MCP was on their necks.
He said the results of Dowa, Lilongwe Rural and Mchinji were delayed deliberately for manipulation of figures to favor President Chakwera and this forced former President Dr. Bakili Muluzi and Dr. Joyce Banda to phone President Chakwera to accept election results.
“President Chakwera spoke on the national broadcaster that Professor Mutharika was leading and the figures are much higher than what he got and there was no way the results can go on his side,” reads Chakwera’s acceptance speech conceding a defeat.
He said Chimwendo Banda’s case was of 2022 where he sent his assassins to assassinate Frank Chiwanda for his prophecy that President Chakwera would lose the elections in September, 2025, the victim was abducted from his house and put him in a sack ready to be thrown into the Bua river and the assassins felt mercy on him.
“The men revealed to Chiwanda that they were allegedly sent by Chimwendo Banda to kill him and they did not find a good reason of killing him, they told him to run away as they reported back to Chimwendo that the deal was accomplished,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
He has reminded Malawians of the 1966 MCP atrocity where the MCP of President Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda had to abduct Solobala, hammered his head with long nails and place him in a sack and later thrown him into the Shire River as crocodile meat.
BAKILI Muluzi TV has warned MCP panga wielding thugs who are mobilizing themselves to be holding violent protests against police arrests on suspected MCP members of committing crimes that the country has now a national police, MCP Police which used to defend them, is dead and buried.
