Alleged reports which have reached Limpopo FM online radio station are indicating that former Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) during the reign of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, madam Colleen Zamba, has fled the country.

Zamba was recently granted court bail by the Lilongwe Magistrate Court where she was given 14 days to plead guilty or not on the charges levelled against her before the court commences full prosecutions on her cases.

Limpopo FMs Nkhanga zaona programme producer Comrade Ntanyiwa, has asked the new government of the DPP to investigate where Madam Zamba has gone to while the radio’s reporters on the ground are doing their work to establish her whereabouts.

The news of Zamba’s fleeing the country has coincided with Deputy Minister of Homeland Security Norman Paulosi Chisale who has written a face book message warning Mchinji border post officials to take care of their jobs that allowing dangerous criminals to flee the country is an offence.

Mchinji border post has become the talk of the day, in October, 2025 Limpopo FMs alleged reports indicated that former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Dr. Steven Kayuni has escaped the country through Mchinji to board a flight to Ethiopia where he bought a family house.

According to reports reaching Limpopo FM, madam Zamba has fled the country to an unknown destination together with her daughter who she used to send her to deposit Malawi’s forex in foreign banks one of it being in Zambia.

Comrade Ntanyiwa has warned MCP Director of Youth Hon. Baba Steven Malondera to leave one MCP woman by the name Thoko alone that if anything happens to her, the radio will hold him and MCP youth accountable.

He said the radio has received information that the MCP is hunting for the life of Thoko who is being suspected of being behind the arrest of Richard Chimwendo Banda who is answering a case in court of attempted murder on fellow MCP member Frank Chiwanda in 2022.

The activist said Frank Chiwanda was abducted by unknown people in the MCP who were hired to kill him for his statement made in 2021 that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera would lose the 16th September, 2025 presidential elections.

It is being alleged that Richard Chimwendo Banda hired assassins to be hunting for Chiwanda and when they found him, they placed him in a sack driving him all the way to Bua River where they planned to throw him into the river.

The men who were assigned to kill him felt mercy on him and they released him ordering him to ran away as they went back to the alleged Chimwendo Banda to tell him that the mission of throwing Chiwanda into the Bua River has been accomplished.

Comrade Ntanyiwa said Chiwanda himself is the one who has brought the attempted murder to the court not Thoko advising the MCP that they are hunting for a wrong person Thoko who has committed no offence, she is just innocent.

He said the assassins who were hired by Chimwendo Banda confessed to Chiwanda that they were hired by him saying it is very unfortunate that the MCP is doing all of what it can to kill the woman Thoko with an aim of cancelling evidence to be tendered in court..
