An unknown concerned citizen of Malawi speaking through an audio clip, says chances for former MCP secretary General Richard Chimwendo Banda to walk to freedom are almost zero, saying there are many files waiting for his signature.
The citizen said there is overwhelmed evidence that Chimwendo Banda is allegedly to be the one who used to send his strong boys armed with pangas to be terrorizing and hacking innocent people in Lilongwe and surrounding places in a quest for President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to bounce back into government.
He said the attempted murder case on Frank Chiwanda is just a tip of an iceberg that the man is a wanted criminal well- deserving to be in prison in line with his criminal activities he was organizing forgetting that tomorrow the prison gates will be open for him.
The citizen said Chimwendo Banda owes Malawians an explanation on why he failed to board an aircraft which carried Dr. Saulosi Chilima to Mzuzu on the claims that the plane was full with only 9 people on board while its seating capacity is 19.
He said even Alfred Dala Kadula, a suspect linked to Chimwendo’s criminal activities, is all aware that he will serve a jail sentence because of Chimwendo Banda for using him and others to gain favors from the party that he was the Bulldozer.
The unknown citizen said Chimwendo Banda’s arrests should serve as a lesson to the other would- be offenders in the DPP not to be used by politicians for their personal gains that one day, they will land themselves into Maula prison.
He has advised the MCP that holding press briefings and speaking against the arrests of MCP members will take them and the party to nowhere saying the DPP has given more powers to the police to arrest all the law breakers including its own members and supporters.
“President Professor Mutharika is not the same as he was in 2014 to 2020, he is now a serious man, he doesn’t want the DPP to go back to the opposition,” said the citizen.
He has challenged Malawians to check on President Professor Mutharika’s speeches since he was elected into power on the 16th September, 2025 elections, that he has come not only to liberate the country from the shackles of the MCP but rebuilding Malawi.
The citizen has urged Malawians including those of the MCP not to feel mercy at Chimwendo Banda telling Malawians that Frank Chiwanda was put into a sack ready to be thrown into the Bua River as food for crocodiles, saying in Chimwendo Banda, there is no God and humanity.
He has appealed to all Malawians to support President Professor Mutharika saying his 100 days in office has produced fruits such as fuel, food, and fertilizer promising a good future for Malawi as he is busy fixing the country to make sure that there is enough forex.
The citizen said some Malawians particularly MCP members and supporters were doubting that Professor Mutharika cannot win the elections- he won with landslide victory questioning them that what else should Professor Mutharika prove to them that he is capable of delivering, assuring all who have committed various offences in the MCP that their days are numbered to stay outside prisons.
And in news just in, the High Court of Malawi Lilongwe Registry will on Friday at 11;00 hours hear an inter-partes summon on application for bail pending trial for Richard Chimwendo Banda, Alfred Dala Kadula and the Republic.
