Malawi has taken a major step toward accelerating its digital transformation agenda after Dalil Technologies, a leading UAE-based provider of advanced IT solutions, expressed strong interest in investing in the country’s technology sector.
During high-level discussions held on Sunday, 21 December 2025, at the company’s offices in Abu Dhabi, Dalil Technologies’ Chairperson, Juma Al Kaabi, assured the Government of Malawi of the company’s readiness to make significant investments aimed at enhancing efficiency, digital security, and modern service delivery systems.
Al Kaabi said Dalil Technologies is keen to partner with Malawi in deploying cutting-edge IT solutions, particularly in areas such as airport security, revenue management systems, and digital infrastructure, noting that these interventions can strengthen governance, improve public service delivery, and safeguard national assets.

Leading the Malawian delegation, Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Decentralization, Joseph Mathyola Mwanamvekha, warmly welcomed Dalil Technologies’ interest, describing it as a timely boost to Malawi’s socio-economic development agenda.
“The Government of Malawi is committed to embracing technology as a driver of economic growth, efficiency, and transparency. Investments of this nature will not only modernize our systems but also create jobs, enhance skills transfer, and strengthen national security,” said Mwanamvekha.
He further emphasized that Malawi offers a conducive investment climate, supported by ongoing economic reforms, policy stability, and a growing demand for digital solutions across both public and private sectors.
Dalil Technologies operates under Dalil Holding, a diversified UAE-based conglomerate with strong expertise in IT solutions, particularly airport security systems and revenue technologies. The group’s subsidiaries also have expanding interests in energy and mining, positioning it as a strategic partner capable of supporting Malawi’s broader development priorities.
The engagement marks a significant milestone in Malawi’s outreach to Gulf nations and reinforces the country’s commitment to attracting high-impact foreign direct investment. If finalized, the partnership with Dalil Technologies is expected to play a pivotal role in transforming Malawi’s digital landscape, strengthening infrastructure, and accelerating sustainable economic growth.
