Karonga based rights activist Comrade Lytone Mangochi and Bishop Kachenje, have thanked Malawians for their prayers that when they heard news that genuine activists have been arrested by the MCP led government of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, they were praying for their release.

Mangochi and Bishop Kachenje said Malawians were not sleeping hearing the news that Bon Kalindo, Lytone Mangochi, Pastor Moses Shumba are in the hands of police suffering for Malawi to be liberated from the hands of dictator- President Chakwera and his MCP led government.

The two said it was very encouraging to see some Malawians taking their time off coming to various police stations and prisons to cheer them and offering support to continue fighting until light conquer darkness in Malawi.

Speaking through a video clip, Mangochi and Bishop Kachenje have claimed that it was by the grace of God that activists came out from the hands of MCP police cells and prisons alive saying this was contrary to the wishes of the MCP led government who were praying for their blood to be smeared on to the walls that activists should be silenced in Malawi.

Comrade Mangochi and Bishop Kachenje said some activists were influenced with millions of Kwachas the MCP was splashing to them to stop holding demonstrations against the MCP and join a bandwagon of praising team that things were better during the reign of President Chakwera as compared to the DPP and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

They said the very activists who suffered detention without trial stood firm defending age limit bill for Professor Mutharika not to be debated and passed in Parliament on the argument that if Professor Mutharika is barred from standing, all the aged persons must not take part in the voting processes for leaders of their choice.

“Today, light has conquered darkness, MCP is out of government, buried with no more chance of resurrections, DPP politicians have forgotten activists who suffered for Professor Mutharika to be where he is now,’ said the two activists.

Mangochi and Kachenje said it is heartbreaking that out of the good job done by genuine activists such as Bakili Muluzi TV, Comrade Ntanyiwa, Bon Kalindo, Pastor Moses Shumba, and others, the DPP is failing to recognize them and they have completely forgotten their pain and sufferings.

They said there is God above who was watching their pain and sufferings and is watching on how the DPP has used and dumped them, time will come when they will be needed more than before praying to God to give them strength to see what will happen in the 2030 elections.

Mangochi and Bishop Kachenje have finally prayed to God the Almighty to bless mother- Malawi, bless President Professor Mutharika and bless all Malawians that took their time recognizing their sufferings for Malawi to be liberated that enough is enough with President Chakwera and his MCP.
