“There are many callings from the Church, so as men, continue participating and taking part in all church activities,” Fr. Bokosi said. “Remember, you are leaders of the family and the Church, therefore you must be role models to other men.”

He pointed to St. Joseph, the patron of the association, as an example of a God-fearing man who cared for his family and was committed to prayer.

“I know as men you are always busy, but spare a little time to serve God and He will bless you,” he said. “Don’t only indulge yourselves in drinking, but also care for your families.”

Fr. Bokosi noted that the parish and diocese depend on men to uphold good conduct. He added that participation in church activities helps men avoid negative behaviors, though he acknowledged that choir members also face challenges, including mental health concerns.Kamphangala advises MCP to rebuild the party not 2030 elections

He thanked the choir members from Pirimiti Parish, saying their visit had encouraged men at Matiya. “I am sure the men of Matiya will also establish a men’s choir as you are doing,” he said.

Speaking at the event, choir member Mr. Raphael K. Nkhoma thanked the Father Superior for welcoming them to pray at the parish. He urged the men of Matiya to emulate their example.

“Let us not live without prayer. Let us pray and be actively involved in church activities,” Nkhoma said.

The visit aimed to strengthen the men’s association spiritually and economically within the deanery.
