ICD bails out UNIMA needy students

I Care Donations (ICD), a charity organization run by University of Malawi (UNIMA) students has today bailed out 25 fellow students who have been struggling with food insufficiency and other necessities

Louis Tidziwenji, Programs Director for the organization said the initiative targeted students in dire need, particularly those relying on HESLGB and are waiting for the bonding process.

The student received special packages containing cooking oil, sugar, sanitary pads, among other necessities.

One of the beneficiaries, Joseph chikumphu held the organisation for the support.

“This support means a lot to me as a needy student; it’s a relief from our everyday struggles,” said Chikumphu.

Tidziwenji emphasized that the organization’s mission is to bridge the gap between well-wishers and deserving students. He went on to expressed his gratitude to donors and appealed for continued support from well-wishers to help the organization.
