Former UTM Regional Governor, Leonard Njikho, has strongly denied social media reports claiming he has joined the People’s Development Party (PDP), founded by Frank Mwenefumbo.
Njikho, who is contesting the Mzuzu City North parliamentary seat as an independent candidate, clarified that his attendance at various political rallies, including the recent Northern Solidarity Alliance rally in Mzuzu City, does not imply a shift in his political allegiance.

“I attend rallies to engage with different stakeholders and appreciate their presidential manifestos, I will make a formal endorsement when the time is right, guiding my followers on who to vote for.” Njikho explained.
Njikho’s statement aims to dispel speculation about his political affiliations, reaffirming his independent candidacy for the parliamentary seat.
