Former Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) employee Anthony Bendulo, has vowed to continue speaking nothing but the truth that the country’s fuel supply shortage was as a result of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba.
Bendulo said President Chakwera made it possible for the country to be procuring fuel using the normal channel of supply but Zamba and her partners thought it wise to divert the fuel supply through middle men (Dobadobas).
He said President Chakwera and Kenyan President William Ruto agreed to work together to ensuring that the country has enough fuel in all fuel service stations throughout the country claiming that even Ministry of Energy officials were very surprised to see Zamba taking her own way of importing fuel contrary to the wishes of President Chakwera.
In a video clip which is circulating in various media platforms, Bendulo said he is praying to meet Zamba in a court of law claiming that he has documents, SMS messages of what Zamba was speaking to support his evidence in court.
Bendulo said he was told that Zamba is going to court to sue him for defamation, assuring her that he is ready expressing hope that the judges will judge his evidence to prove him guilty or not saying Zamba no matter she can hire first class lawyers but she cannot win the case which is before the court.
He said he is aware that some other Malawians are of the view that he has to take the matter to the Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) describing this as time wasting for nothing saying Zamba has connections in all government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) except the courts.
“This is why I am insisting that this case be heard at the court not the ACB, the documents I have are for the court and not the ACB,” said Bendulo.
The Senior Resident Magistrate Court in Lilongwe gave Zamba 14 days to respond to the charge she is answering to in court of Abuse of Public office on whether she will prove guilty or not, Bendulo has advised Zamba’s family not to let her alone, she can fall down with High Blood Pressure disease.
Social media influencer Julius Zimwanda Mithi in his recent post said JFM news talked to the Deputy Minister of Homeland Security Hon. Norman Paulosi Chisale that all MCP thieves will be arrested and no amount of money will be used to buy justice.
Mithi urged Malawians to wait for real show down on evidence- based claiming that Zamba has a Dollar account in Zambia saying she was sending through a certain Air Hostess to be depositing the Dollars assuring Malawians that evidence is available.
