He has appealed to Malawians that despite the country facing fuel and forex shortages, Professor Mutharika is not sleeping and his Minister of Finance Joseph Mwanamvekha has just brought home 80 million US Dollars from USA and promised 100 million Dollars from the World Bank.
Bakili Muluzi TV said while Mwanamvekha has brought home million of US Dollars, President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera was seen riding a bicycle in Germany and came back home empty handed speaking for itself that the country was spending more on Chakwera’s foreign trips and gaining nothing best explained by Chakwera and the MCP itself.
