Political activist Bon Kalindo has advised opposition parties DPP, UTM, AFORD, PP and UDF to swallow their pride and form an electoral alliance to unseat the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) from power on the 16th September, 2025 General Elections.
Kalindo said opposition alliance is in the best interest of all Malawians that are praying to liberate the country from the shackles of dictatorship which has destroyed the hard-won democracy which Malawians made a declaration IN 1994 that never again shall their country go back to one –party state and dictatorship.
He has warned opposition parties that the decision to go alone will have negative effects on the pain and suffering Malawians that are regretting to have voted for a wrong person into government as President of the Republic of Malawi.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said it is sad hearing news that some opposition parties are strategizing themselves to impeach their colleagues in the party for speaking against others, describing this as enemies of progress.
Kalindo has assured opposition parties that whether they give him all sorts of names that he is “Kasongo” he will not stop telling them the truth that it is only the opposition Alliance which can liberate the county from the shackles of MCP dictatorship.
He said MCP is busy doing everything possible to win the September, 2025 elections observing that MCP is building houses for chiefs with DSTV satellite dishes describing this as time wasting campaign happening at a time when patients at the Kamuzu Central Hospital are sleeping on the floor and without mattresses.
“You can build houses for all chiefs in Malawi using taxpayers’ money, this will not buy votes for you, people have already made their choice enough is enough with the MCP and President Chakwera,” said Kalindo.
On his part, Pastor Moses Shumba-the Lion of Judah, has delivered a message to UTM President Dr. Dalitso Kabambe and the entire UTM family that patriotic Malawians are understanding the reasons that are making the UTM to go alone in the September, 2025 elections but this time, they should keep patience.
Pastor Shumba has pleaded with Dr. Kabambe to listen to Malawian demands that there’s power in unity saying God is reserving him for a purpose to become President of the Republic but now he should join the opposition alliance so that in unison they will put to shame the MCP and President Chakwera.
He has thanked AFORD President Enock Kamzingeni Chihana for making an intelligent decision to unite with fellow opposition party leaders for Professor Arthur Peter MuthariKa to lead the Alliance advising Dr. Kabambe to change his heart and wear that of patriotic Malawians.
“Listen to the voices of Malawians, join the opposition alliance to defeat the MCP and oust it from power before the 16th September, 2025 General Elections,” said Pastor Shumba.
He has strongly warned Dr. Kabambe that if he will not listen to Malawian demands and stand alone in the elections, Malawians are not ready to give him votes, he will fall miserably and blame no one, expressing hope that Dr. Kabambe will come back to his senses to listen to million voices of Malawian demands.
