The grouping has delivered two petitions to Lilongwe District Commissioner Dr Lawford Palani, the first petition is being directed to president Lazarus Chakwera to fire Chizuma within 7 days.
The other petition is going to Chizuma herself to resign with immediate effect for violating her oath of office.
At the moment the demonstrators are heading to parliament to deliver another petition to Public Appointments Committee of Parliament (PAC).
Redson Munlo leader of the said concerned citizens has vowed never to rest until Chizuma is fired.
Leaders of the Concerned citizens group are yet to arrive at the Lilongwe District Commissioner’s office where they want to deliver their petition demanding President Lazarus Chakwera to fire ACB Director Martha Chizuma.
They are planning to deliver two petitions at the DC’s office, one for the President and another is directed to Chizuma herself where they are asking her to resign.
They will later march to Parliament to deliver another petition to Public Appointments Committee of Parliament (PAC).
The group wants ACB Director Martha Chizuma fired with immediate effect for violating her oath of office in the leaked telephone conversation.
First lorry truck carrying some of the demonstrators has dropped them and has since left the place.
