Atupele Muluzi To Be On Ballot Paper 2025

Former United Democratic (UDF) President Atupele Muluzi has revived his hopes of leading the country in a video hinting on a 2025 presidential bid.

In the video, Muluzi says he understands the suffering and challenges that Malawians are facing and the citizenry’s boredom over broken promises.

In what seems to be a speech to sell himself to the electorate, Muluzi defines previous decades of leadership as a loss and wasted in terms of development.

Ironically, this statement comes after he announced his exit from active politics two years ago, to pursue business and investment dreams.

Recent photos of vehicles branded Friends of Atupele that circulated on social media shook the UDF which is now led by Lillian Patel.

Atupele is the son to former President Bakili Muluzi and founder of the UDF.
