Chakwera is expected to address the nation

President  Lazarus Chakwera is expected to address the nation at 12 pm today amid unconfirmed reports that the plane has been found and there may not be survivors.

Unverified pictures circulating on social media show a wreckage of a plane with the same number as that was quoted in Chakwera’s statement issued yesterday.

As the search for the missing Plane that carried vice president Saulosi Chilima continues, Inkosi ya Makosi Mmbelwa 5 has called on his subjects around Chikangawa to help in the search.

The Ngoni Chief has also called on Members of Parliament in Mzimba to mobilize youths from the areas to assists in efforts aimed at finding the missing plane.

Currently drones from the Malawi University of Science and Technology are being used to conduct the search around Bombo area.

It’s still foggy in the  plantation where the search is being conducted.

So far search teams have been deployed to Nthungwa, Elephant rock and area known as Bombo
