Lilongwe City Council To Hold Lilongwe City Summit

Lilongwe City Council will on March 15 hold the Lilongwe City Summit where stakeholders will discuss strategies on how to develop the city.

The summit comes barely three weeks after Blantyre City Council hosted a similar activity.

Briefing reporters on Tuesday, Lilongwe City Mayor Richard Banda said the summit will discuss issues of infrastructure development, street vending, waste management and leisure.

According to Banda, the summit will be held under the theme ‘My City My Responsility: Together Building the City We Want’.
