The Malawi Police Women Network has donated food and non-food items worth K2 Million, to flood survivors living at Kanseche Camp in Chikwawa.
The beneficiaries are from flood-prone areas around Matsukambiya and Kanseche; both in T/A Lundu; and Chikuse Village in T/A Makhuwira.
One of the beneficiaries Margaret Ephraim has told us the donation will mitigate hunger problems at the camp.
Malawi Police Women Network Chairperson Jessie Nyirongo said the money is a contribution from Women Officers from across Malawi.
