Cerebrated Malawian musician Masiye Kansalu whose stage name is Maskal has teamed up with other musicians to perform at Mibawa Multipurpose Hall in Blantyre.
Maskal to spice up the event dubbed Chitoliro Concert scheduled to take place on Saturday, 2nd March that has been organised by Chitoliro Productionz in partnership with Mibawa and WS Bet.
Maskal arrived in Malawi on 1st February and he is expected to be in the country for about three weeks.
The ‘Udalire hit maker has performed at Illusionz in Lilongwe, Club 247, Blues and RSVP in Blantyre.
As a one way of elevating dancehall genre in Malawi, Chitoliro Concert will also give a platform to two special talented dancehall icons, Malinga and Trumel to show their case.
The event organiser Executive Producer Ken Zizwa has said in an interview that the show brings in many value additions to the music industry and it’s a farewell celebration of Maskal as it is his last performance before he returns to United States.
“The show will bring an effort to elevate dancehall genre in Malawi which by bring two of its special talents in Malawi and am encouraging people to come in large numbers because we are well prepared for it,” said Zizwa.
He added that All three artists have prepared intensely for the show and it will be on live TV at Mibawa Televisionv in order to allow audiences across the country to witness and benefit.
In his remarks, Malinga Mafia said being the first time this year to perform in Blantyre he is expecting entertainment lovers to support him in large numbers.
“I can’t wait to see you people in Blantyre on second much, it will be a good look fly as my performance will be to the fullest and am about to show reminisce good old days on stage with Maskal so I will provide filling of closeness in music through my energetic performance,” said friends before fame composer.
