Plans to construct a new Airport in the Northern Region has received a boost as OPEC Fund for International Development is providing US$350,000 grant to the Government of Malawi.

The US$350,000 grant is meant to co-finance a technical and economic feasibility assessment for Orton Chirwa International Airport in Mzuzu City.
