Minister of homeland security Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has confirmed that six people have been arrested in relation to an incident where a presidential convoy was stoned in the lower Shire earlier this month.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lilongwe, Zikhale Ng’oma says the six will soon appear before court once investigations have been finalised.
Meanwhile, the minister assures that his office through the Malawi Police Service is working on various measures to ensure that there is maximum security as Malawi is heading towards campaign period ahead of next year’s general elections.
