Silver Strikers Football Club Head Coach Peter De Jong has asked football authorities in Malawi to suspend Hassan Kajoke with immediate effect.
De Jong said this follows FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ featuring of the player who has a running contract with Silver Strikers FC.
De Jong made the call on Thursday during the weekly press briefing the Bankers conduct.
“How come a player for Silver Strikers scores for Bullets, you call that fair play? Bullets would have not won without our player. Deduct the points for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and give the other team a three-nill-victory,” queried De Jong.
Silver Strikers Football Club lawyers have today submitted documents to the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) proving that Kajoke signed a 3-year contract with the club this year.
According to the Silver Strikers Facebook Page, the club’s lawyers have sent a copy of the contract and proof of payment that Kajoke was paid K3 million being signing fees and salaries for January and February 2023.
